Life as a photographer
French born, good sport with a ready smile and updated red cross skills, Marie Hennechart, a true reportage photographer, travels the world for more than two decades.
Hardly out of the plane, she is already hunting and gathering places, instants, faces, skills, and jewels as diverse as a colorful Kyrgyz yurt, a carrot operated by Thierry Marx, a tiny butterfly in Nabokov’s collection in St Petersburg, a flying elephant with children in it, an eccentric shop near Kyoto or Hemingway’s Cuban house.
Her delightful imprint feeds long-lasting and fruitful collaborations with some of the world's most prestigious magazines and edition houses: Condé Nast Traveller, W magazine, T Magazine - The New York Times, Travel + Leisure, Food & Wine, The Wall Street Journal Mag, Casa Brutus, Le Groupe Alain Ducasse, Madame Figaro Japon, L'Express Styles, les Editions du Chêne to name a few...
Between stopovers, she lives in Montmartre above Paris roofs.
